Silly name, silly cards. Silly, shiny, fancy, funny cards!

“I love silly, I love greeting cards, I love everything vintage and I love shiny objects,” says Betty, an Alberta graphic designer who has found her passion. 

“Put it all together with heavy, metallic-shine card stock and voila, blingbebe greetings is born. After doing my time in advertising as a graphic designer, I am now doing more of what I love night and day.”

What she loves is creating genuinely cheeky, positively funny, extra sophisticated and smartass greeting cards that are more beautiful and more original than anything you’ll find in any drug store. 

How about a congratulations-you’re-pregnant card that says, “Great, now who am I going to drink with?” Or a romantic card that says, “You had me at …” with a picture of a Tim’s cup? Or a congratulations-on-your-divorce card that quips, “I lost 175 lbs and I feel great!”

“We pride ourselves on our fanatical attention to detail when producing our cards,” Betty says. “We hope you enjoy giving our cards to friends and family as much as we enjoy making them. Life is good.”

Karen Harnett-Voigt  is the brains and fingers behind Below Zero Knits. When she’s not working at her part-time job or hanging out with her handsome military husband, you’ll be able to find Karen by following the sound of her clacking knitting needles.

She’s been knitting all of her life, thanks to loving instruction from her mom, as avid a knitter as they come. 

“I love to knit,” Karen says. “I love to knit things that make people smile. That, in turn, makes me very happy.”

Beantrees Café

Beantrees Café has always been one of the warmest and trendiest coffee joints in Cold Lake, but new owners Jen and Craig Konechny have recently been giving it a glorious makeover that has coffee lovers talking. 

This cozy downtown shop has everything you need in an upscale café: fabulous desserts (made in-house), light homemade lunches and, of course, incredible organic coffee and tea. The cappuccino? To die for. Seriously.

Brand new and unbelievable is the Pecan Cinnamon Bun – stickly, ooey-gooey goodness that somehow disappears in the blink of an eye!

Sally Grayson is the talent behind AudacityWear, a popular online shop featuring handcrafted jewellery made with semi-precious stones and silver. Her work is absolutely gorgeous!

Artist Amélie Legault

I am Amélie Legault, French Canadian artist and illustrator. I live in Montreal with my boyfriend, my partner in business and his two little girls, my best critics! I always drew and I have a great fascination for animals. I think I love them all and I have a lot of fun drawing them!

It all started with a collection of 6 flamingo birthday cards. In March 2013 I opened my Etsy shop and I entered the first Montreal store that accepted my cards in consignment! Do I need to tell how shy and nervous I was this first time? :) Finally, in April 2014 I left my full-time job for ... for drawing full time! Living my dream job!

Since then, the flamingos have made new friends: all the cycling animals and the dressed fish! Because an animal riding a bicycle, is funny! And a trout wearing a mitten, is also really funny! Humour is important in my work.

I draw with brush pens and ink on vellum paper. Then I scan my drawings and I printed on my inkjet printer Epson Artisan and Epson archive ink that last 200 years. I print on matte paper 192 g / m2. I myself assure print quality and this method allows me to offer you several formats. I also carefully wrap and ship every order.
